The Teton Crest Trail is a 71-mile out-and-back route in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, managed by the National Park Service. It rises from a low point of about 6,870 feet to a high of 10,696 feet, with a total elevation gain of about 4,558 feet. The trail is rated hard, and it is a long, steep commitment. The trail starts at String Lake Trailhead, and the String Lake Trail and Jenny Lake Lodge both lie about 0.1 mile away. Leigh Lake Trailhead is about 0.3 mile off. The route is not open to bikes or horses, and a fee is charged. Cascade Canyon, a climbing area, is about 1.8 miles away, and Shoreline Boulders is about 2 miles away.
