Teton Crest is a 6.1-mile out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Jedediah Smith Wilderness, part of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest's Ashton/Island Park Ranger District. The trail rises from about 8,319 feet to about 8,659 feet, a climb of 366 feet, and is rated hard. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is natural-surfaced, with horses allowed but bikes not. The trail is open year-round, and the surrounding wilderness makes it a destination for those planning a longer stay in the area. Conant Pass Trail lies just 0.3 miles away, and Jackass Pass Trail and Survey Peak Trail are both within about 2 miles. For an overnight base, Squirrel Meadows Cabin is roughly 7.8 miles off.
