Taggart Lake Trail is a 7.3-mile out-and-back hike in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, managed by the National Park Service. The trail gains about 231 feet from its low point of 6,632 feet to its high point of 7,020 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F and lows near 43°F, and August is similar, with a little fewer wet days. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the route run a bit cooler. The trail starts close to Taggart Lake Trailhead, about 0.4 miles away.
