Sheep Bridge Trail is a moderate out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Shoshone National Forest, within the Washakie Ranger District. The trail runs about 5.15 miles round trip, with a one-way elevation gain of 215 feet, and the route ends at a high point of 9,108 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is open year round. A trailhead parking area called Worthen Meadows serves as the starting point, and the trail's natural surface allows for horses and bikes. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Atlantic City put July highs around 78°F with lows near 43°F, and that station sits roughly 1,300 feet below the trail's high point, so expect cooler temperatures up top. Worthen Meadow Campground and Worthen Meadows Campground both sit about 0.1 mile from the trailhead, and the Upper Brewers Trail starts just as close. The Stough Creek Lakes Trail is about half a mile away.
