Lakes Trail is a 3.5-mile out-and-back hike in the Brush Creek-Hayden Ranger District of Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated easy, with a one-way climb of about 440 feet from a low point of roughly 10,591 feet to a high of about 11,085 feet. The route is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, so it works for hikers and riders alike. The trail's short length and gentle grade make it a straightforward outing. The Medicine Bow Peak Area climbing area sits just 0.2 miles away, and Lake Marie Trail and West Lake Marie are both about 0.6 miles off. For an overnight stay, Sugarloaf Campground is about 1.8 miles away.
