Clear Creek is a hard hike in Wyoming's Gros Ventre Wilderness, part of the Jackson Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The trail is an out-and-back that climbs from about 8,200 feet to about 10,090 feet, with a total elevation gain of 1,888 feet over a distance of about 10.3 miles. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is open from May 1 through October 31. The route is natural-surface and allows horses, but not bikes. The Kinky Creek Trailhead is the parking for the trip. Several other trails start close by. Dry Fork (Brewster Lake) is about 0.1 mile away, and the Kinky to Gv River Connector and Kinky Creek Trail are within half a mile. The Gros Ventre River Trail is about 1.9 miles off.
