Massive Vertigo is a bouldering area in Devils Lake State Park, about a mile from Baraboo, Wisconsin. It lies within the state park's land managed by the State Department of Natural Resources, and several other climbing areas sit within a short distance, making this part of the park a compact cluster of bouldering. The climbing here is all bouldering, and the routes range from V2 to V9. The most common grades fall between V6 and V6+, with the V9 "Fearful Symmetry" and "Thick Dawg" as the hardest. "Massive Vertigo" itself is a V6+ boulder problem. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Baraboo weather station run to highs around 70°F in May and 74°F in September, with July the warmest month at about 83°F. Winters are cold, with January highs near 28°F. The Prow (aka Tunder Tighs) and Warbler are both about 0.1 mile away. The Iat - Devil's Lake-Baraboo Connection hike is half a mile off, and the Iat - Devil's Lake Segment is about 2.5 miles away.
