Pig Iron Boulder is a bouldering area in Coopers Rock State Forest in West Virginia, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with the Kurt Cobain Memorial Wall and The Grunge Boulder each about 0.1 mile away, and the Furnace Area Boulders at a similar distance. The closest trail is the Clay Furnace Trail, about 0.4 mile off. The area is a bouldering destination, with seven routes all rated on the V scale. The easiest is Bacon Made at V0+, and the hardest is Iron Pig at V6-7. Pigskin and War Pigs are both V5. The routes are all boulders, so there is no climbing on rock faces here. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall.
