Land of the Lost is a climbing area in West Virginia, about half a mile from the town of Cotton Hill. It sits among a cluster of bouldering and climbing spots, so it works well as a base for exploring the surrounding crags and trails. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 75°F and October highs around 68°F, while July highs reach about 84°F and January highs sit near 42°F. Several climbing areas lie within a short distance, including Lower New River Gorge Bouldering about 0.1 mile away and White Eyebrow Boulder and Hawk's Nest Proper, each about 0.2 mile off. For a walk, the Cliffside Trail is about 0.6 mile away.
