Double-Tier Wall is a climbing area in West Virginia, managed by the Army Corps of Engineers and located about 1.5 miles from the town of Neponset. It sits among a cluster of other climbing areas, so it works well as one stop in a day of exploring the surrounding rock. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Bluestone Lake weather station show May highs around 76°F and September highs around 79°F, with September also seeing the fewest wet days of the year. Simpson Wall, Rigor Wall and Bovine Area all lie about 0.1 mile away, so climbers can easily move between them. For a change of pace, Pipestem Knob Trail is about 6 miles off.
