Twisted Tree is a bouldering area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and camping spots, with Angelina Jolie Boulder and Twisted Tree Boulder both about 0.1 mile away, and Bridge Creek Group Site and Bridge Creek Free Camping also within a tenth of a mile. The area is a bouldering destination, with four routes listed, all rated between V3 and V4 on the V scale. Etna Mantle and Raptorman are both V3, and Ben Carney's Bowling Balls runs V4-5. The climbing is close to the Bridge Creek camping options, so it works well for a day trip with an overnight stay. Summer is the warmest stretch for a visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth show July and August highs around 87°F with lows near 50°F and only about three wet days a month. That station sits roughly 1,000 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures at the climbing area run cooler. Winter is cold, with January highs around 34°F and lows near 19°F. Nearby, the Fourth Of July Creek Trail is about 1.6 miles away and Eightmile Group Site is about a mile off. Peshastin Creek, a paddling spot, is roughly 9 miles away.
