The Sword/Underwear Rock is a bouldering area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Underwear Rock and Couch Boulder each about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is all bouldering, and the routes are rated on the V scale. You Dog You, also known as The Sword, is the easiest at V3, while Resurrection and Zorro are both V8. That makes this a destination for climbers who want to work on boulders of varying difficulty, with the harder routes giving a challenge for more experienced climbers. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth show July and August highs around 87°F with only about three wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and roughly 14 wet days a month. That station sits nearly 1,000 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures at the climbing area run cooler. Bridge Creek Group Site is about half a mile away, and Icicle Group Campground is about 1.4 miles off. For a hike, Fourth Of July Creek Trail is about a mile away and Victoria Creek Trail about 2.4 miles.
