Secondary Face is a climbing area in Washington, about 0.8 miles from the town of Parkwater. It sits among several other climbing spots within a short distance, including Novice Rocks, Don Quixote Face and UFO Wall, all about 0.1 mile away, and Other Rocks about the same. The area has 10 routes, with grades ranging from 5.7 to 5.12c. Trad climbing dominates, with five trad routes, and three sport routes. Mixed climbing is also represented. Among the named routes are Back Tree Crack (5.7, trad), The Prow (5.10d, sport) and Penis Pencilman (5.12c, trad). Summer is the warmest stretch. Typical July highs reach about 87°F with only a few wet days, and September still averages around 76°F. Winter is cold, with typical January highs near 38°F. For a change from climbing, Granite Trail lies about 0.4 mile away and Tire Trail about 0.7 mile away.
