Lost Resort is a climbing area in the Snoqualmie Ranger District of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington, about 3.8 miles from the Cedar Lake weather station. It sits among several other climbing areas, with Valley View East, Bob's Area and Peannacle Wall all about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is all sport, and the routes run from about 5.10c up to 5.13a. Among the named routes are Firing Up Bob at 5.10c, Appassionata at 5.10d and Crawling from the Wreckage at 5.13a. The Great Wall Trail and Mount Washington Trail are both within half a mile for a walk off the rock. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the Cedar Lake station show July and August highs around 70°F with only eight or nine wet days a month, while winter brings highs near 39°F and regular snow days. That station sits about 1,200 feet below the climbing area, so temperatures up high run cooler.
