Barney's Rubble is a climbing area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking spots, with Lonely Fish and Bruces Boulder both about 0.1 mile away. The area has six routes, ranging from 5.5 to 5.10a on the YDS scale. Three are mixed, two are sport and one is trad. The 5.5 Crack is a trad route, and the 5.9 Face and 5.10a Face are sport routes. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth show July and August highs around 87°F with lows near 50°F and only about three wet days a month. That station sits roughly 640 feet lower than the area, so temperatures here run cooler. Bruce's Boulder Trail is about 0.4 mile away, and Snow Lakes Trail is about 1.1 mile away. Eightmile Group Site and Bridge Creek Group Site are both within about 2.5 miles for camping.
