C-8220 is a short mountain biking route in Washington, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources and located about a third of a mile from the Twin Peaks hike. The route is an out-and-back that rises about 75 feet from its low point of 879 feet to a high of 966 feet, with the steepest section coming at about 9% grade roughly a tenth of a mile from the start. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Olympia show July and August highs around 78°F with only about five wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on roughly 20 days. Several other rides sit close by. The Slide mountain biking route and the 30 Inmates route are each within about a quarter mile, and Waddell Basin West is about 0.4 miles away. Paddlers can find Sherman Creek roughly 3.6 miles off.
