Egg Basket is a bouldering area in Virginia, set within the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Glenwood and Pedlar Ranger Districts of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest. The National Park Service manages the land, and there is no fee to visit. The area is a cluster of boulders rather than a single climb. Eleven routes are listed, all bouldering, with grades ranging from V1-2 to V8. The easiest are Son Of A Gun and Eggsistence, and the hardest is Seventh Son. Fresh Eyes and Yolk sit at V3. Pebbles and Bastion Boulder are both about 0.1 mile away, so the area is easy to pair with another session. Hikers can take the Harkening Hill Loop Trail, about 0.7 mile off, or the Johnson Trail, about 0.9 mile away.
