Upper Boulder Field is a bouldering area in the Ogden Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking destinations, with the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and Taylor Canyon both about 0.1 mile away. The area is a bouldering hub, with 21 boulder problems and one mixed route among its 22 routes. The boulders run from V0 to V6 on the V scale, and the hardest of them, "Don't Want to Grow Up," is a V6. The V2+ "Get-a-Grip" and the V3 "The Mule" are also among the more commonly climbed. Summer is the warmest stretch for a visit. Typical averages from the nearby Pineview Dam weather station show July highs around 87°F with lows near 50°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. The closest neighbors are the Around the World and The Platform climbing areas, both about 0.1 mile away. Maples Campground is about 3.2 miles off, and the Ogden River offers canoeing roughly 1.9 miles away.
