The Platform is a climbing area in the Ogden Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking destinations, with Upper Boulder Field and Around the World both about 0.1 mile away, and the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and Taylor Canyon also within a tenth of a mile. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Pineview Dam weather station show July highs around 87°F with lows near 50°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. The Ogden River, about 2 miles away, offers canoeing, and Maples Campground, roughly 3 miles off, is the closest place to camp.
