Sunset Cliffs is a climbing area in the Pleasant Grove Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. It sits within the forest's network of trails and climbing spots, and the Bonneville Shoreline Trail passes just 0.2 miles away. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Provo show May highs around 76°F and October highs around 68°F, while July averages about 95°F and winter brings frequent snow days. The closest neighbors are the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and Camel Ridge, both within a mile. Hobble Creek, a paddling spot about 1.5 miles off, and the Whiting campground, roughly 4.8 miles away, round out the options for a longer outing.
