The land is managed by the BLM, and the boulders sit among several other climbing spots in this corner of the field office. The climbing here is all bouldering, with 10 routes spread across the V0 to V5 range. The easiest are Arete and Face and The Mormons Strike Again, both at V0, and the hardest is Right Bulge at V5. The grades are typical for bouldering in the area, with V1 as the median. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Cottonwood Weir show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 64°F, while July averages climb to about 91°F. The Bells Canyon Trail and North Fork Deaf Smith Canyon Trail are both within a mile. Tanners Flat Campground and Lake Lillian are a little over 4 and 5 miles away.
