Big Spud is a bouldering area in the Ferron Ranger District of Manti-La Sal National Forest in Utah, with several climbing areas within a short distance. The closest is Outer Limits, about 0.2 miles away, and Right Fork is about 0.3 miles off. The climbing here is all on boulders, with six routes graded from V1 to V7. The most comfortable time to visit is summer. Typical averages from the Electric Lake weather station, about 20 miles away, show July highs around 74°F with lows near 41°F.
