Rusty Spur is a short, easy mountain biking ride in southern Utah, on Bureau of Land Management land within the Moab Field Office. The route is out and back, about 2.6 miles long with a total elevation gain of 57 feet, and it reaches a high point of 4,640 feet from a low of 4,578 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 70°F and October highs around 72°F, while July averages near 99°F and winter highs hover in the low 40s. The Rusty Spur Trail and the Moab Canyon Pathway are both about 0.1 mile away, and the Sidewinder trail is about 0.2 mile off. Climbers can find State Highway 313 about 1.5 miles away.
