Deadman's Ridge is a mountain biking route on Bureau of Land Management land in Utah's Moab Field Office, about 1.5 miles from the town of Moab. The ride is an out-and-back of about 3 miles, with a high point of 4,798 feet and a low of 4,523 feet, and it gains about 340 feet of elevation. The climb is rated hard, so plan on a steady effort over the course of the route. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 70°F and October highs around 72°F, while July averages near 99°F and January lows drop to about 22°F. The Sidewinder Trail and the Sidewinder and Escape mountain biking routes all sit about 0.2 miles away. Climbers can head to Little Valley, about 1.7 miles off, and Goose Island Campground is about 5 miles away for an overnight stay.
