Rooster Trail is a 1.5-mile mountain biking route in the Pine Valley Ranger District of Dixie National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a total climb of about 418 feet, and the route reaches a high point of 5,481 feet from a low of 5,056 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Veyo Powerhouse show May highs around 75°F and October highs around 71°F, while July averages about 92°F and January highs sit near 48°F. That station sits roughly 900 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Climbers can head to Cottonwood Springs Bouldering, about 3.4 miles off.
