Zen Trail is a short mountain biking route on state trust lands in southern Utah, within the State Trust Lands Tonaquint Block. It is an out-and-back ride of about 0.9 miles, with a total elevation gain of about 38 feet, and it sits at a low point of around 2,712 feet with a high of about 2,759 feet. The State Land Board manages the land, and the trail is rated hard. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in St George show April highs around 75°F and October highs around 79°F, while July averages about 102°F and January lows dip to around 28°F. Red Bluff Canyon, a hike, is just 0.2 miles away, and the Turtle Boulder and Toadstool climbing areas are both about 0.4 miles off. The Santa Clara River Trail is roughly a mile away.
