Jasper West Trail is a short, moderate mountain biking route on Bureau of Land Management land in the Moab Field Office of Utah. The trail is an out-and-back that covers about 1.6 miles, with a low point of 4,670 feet and a high of 4,713 feet, so the one-way elevation gain is about 33 feet. The trail is managed by the BLM and sits among a cluster of other trails and campgrounds in the Moab area. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 67°F with lows near 39°F in April to highs around 68°F with lows near 40°F in October. July is the hottest month, with typical highs near 96°F. The Baby Steps North Trail, Agate East Trail and Midline Trail are all within about 0.3 miles, and North Klondike Campground is roughly 1.3 miles away.
