Wasatch Crest Connect is an easy out-and-back hike of about 1.4 miles on the Salt Lake Ranger District of Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. The trail runs from a low point of about 9,163 feet to a high of about 9,482 feet, with an elevation gain of about 300 feet one way. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Silver Lake, about 1.1 miles away, put July highs around 72°F with lows near 47°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. The trail sits right next to Guardsman Pass Road, about 0.1 mile away, and the Gwt Guardsman to Sunset Pass route is about 0.3 mile off. Redman Campground is roughly 0.9 mile away, and Silver Lake offers fishing about 1.2 miles from the trail.
