Meeks Lake is a moderate hike of about 4.3 miles in the Fremont River Ranger District of Fishlake National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back that gains about 1,300 feet, starting at roughly 9,550 feet and reaching about 10,840 feet at the high point. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, so it works for hikers and riders alike. The climb is steady, and the route is short enough to fit into a day of exploring the surrounding area. Several other trails sit close by. Pleasant Creek Trail and Terrace Trail are each about 0.3 miles away, and Bear Flat Trail is about half a mile off. For an overnight stay, Oak Creek Campground is about 2.2 miles away.
