Oak Creek Road is an easy out-and-back hike in Utah's Fishlake National Forest, within the Fremont River Ranger District. The route is about 3.3 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 498 feet, and it starts and ends at a low point of about 8,350 feet, rising to a high of about 8,863 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail sits right next to Oak Creek Campground, about 0.1 mile away. That makes it an easy pairing for an overnight stay. The High Ranger Trail lies about half a mile off, and Rosebud OHV Campground and Upper Pleasant Creek Campground are each about 0.9 mile away, giving more options for camping close to the trail. For a longer outing, Green Lake and Deer Creek Lake, both about 4 miles away, offer fishing.
