About this trail

The East Rim Trail is currently closed indefinitely and should not be attempted. This short but steep 2.38-mile trail gains over 1,100 feet of elevation, making it a challenging ascent despite its brief distance. Prior to closure, the trail offered dramatic rim views characteristic of Utah's high desert landscape.
