Zion Outfitter rents specialized gear for hiking the Zion Narrows and biking Zion Canyon, operating from a location steps from the park entrance in Springdale. For Narrows hiking, they offer seasonal packages including warm-weather gear (May–September), dry bibs (October–May), waterproof backpacks year-round, and kid's drysuits (September–May). Equipment can be picked up the morning of a hike or the evening prior from 4pm until one hour before closing, with returns due one hour before closing on the day of use. The shop also rents bikes for canyon exploration and provides family-friendly gear in multiple sizes. Open daily 7am to 9pm, Zion Outfitter combines rental services with trip-planning resources including guides to top hikes, seasonal conditions, crowd-avoidance tips, and weather preparation.
