Different Strokes Wall is a bouldering area in Texas's Whitney Point Recreation Area, managed by the Army Corps of Engineers. The wall sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, including the Pilgrims Pride & Jizzercise Boulders and the Nolan River climbing area, both about a tenth of a mile away, which makes it easy to pair with a longer day of climbing in this corner of the recreation area. The bouldering here is all on the same level, with 11 routes listed, 10 of them boulders and one a traverse. The grades run from V1 up to V7, with V4 as the median. A few of the named routes include Willis (V1), Stroke of Genius (V3) and Power Pooch (V6). Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Cleburne show October highs around 78°F and April highs around 76°F, while July and August average about 95°F. Kimball Bend Park, a campground about 6 miles away, is the closest place to camp. Plowman Creek campground lies roughly 8 miles off.
