Susan's Curves Loop Trail is a short, easy hike in Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park in Tennessee, managed by the National Park Service. The trail is about 0.9 miles long and is an out-and-back route, with the total round-trip climb reaching about 423 feet. The steepest part comes early, around 0.35 miles from the start, where the grade reaches about 12 percent. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show October highs around 75°F with lows near 47°F, and April highs around 73°F. July and August average highs near 89°F. Several other trails sit close by. Skyuka Trail and Gum Spring Trail are each about 0.3 miles away, and Kiddie Trail is about 0.5 miles off. Climbers can find Sunset South about 0.6 miles away.
