Shackleford Park Yellow Trail is an easy, out-and-back hike of about 1.6 miles that climbs roughly 192 feet from a low point of 1,781 feet to a high of 1,823 feet. The trail's short distance and low elevation gain make it a quick outing, and it sits about a mile from the community of Edwards Point, Tennessee, which is the nearest town. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go.
