r. Far Face is a climbing area in Tohickon Valley Park in Pennsylvania, about a tenth of a mile from several other named climbing areas, including p. Obnoxious Partner, o. Chain Reaction Buttress and l. Hawk's Nest. The park holds five routes, four of which are top rope and one is trad, with grades ranging from 5.4 to 5.9 on the YDS scale. Far Face Corner is the trad route at 5.4, and Far Face Direct and Last Stand are both 5.8 top rope. The most comfortable climbing weather typically comes in late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bucksville run from highs around 72°F in May to about 76°F in September, with July the warmest month at an average high of 85°F. Chief Running Deer Trail is about 2 miles away, and Mimi's Trail and Yellow Trail are both within about 4.5 miles. The Delaware River, roughly 9.6 miles off, offers river fishing.
