G2 is a bouldering area on State Game Land 276 in Pennsylvania, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking spots in the state's state game lands, and the closest of these is North Shore, about 2 miles away. The area holds 50 bouldering routes, all rated from V1 to V4 on the V scale, with V1 being the most common grade. Among the named routes are 10. Unnamed Bowers', 20. Girls Rule Boys Drool and 29. Slab, all V1, and 14. Georgia Homeboy at V4. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 72°F in May to about 75°F in September, with July the warmest month at around 82°F.
