Packer's Point Trail is a mountain biking route on State Game Land 141 in Pennsylvania, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It's a short out-and-back ride of about half a mile, with a total climb of about 800 feet, and it's rated moderate. The trail starts near 1,400 feet and reaches a high point of about 1,410 feet. The steepest stretch comes early, around 0.16 miles in, with a grade of about 41 percent. That makes the climb a challenge in the first few hundred yards, and the route is roughly twice as long as the 0.27 miles listed for the one-way distance. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Lehighton show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 73°F. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Overlook Trail is just 0.1 mile away, and Lehigh Gorge State Park is about 0.2 mile off. Hikers can reach Jeans' Run Trail at about 0.4 mile and Gorgeous Rocks at about 0.4 mile.
