Field Loop is a short, easy mountain biking loop in West End Regional Park in Pennsylvania, about 0.7 miles long. It's a low-key ride with a total elevation gain of 33 feet and a high point of 1,058 feet, so it works well as a warm-up or a break between longer outings in the park. The route is mostly flat, with a slight climb of about 5% at the 0.37-mile mark. The start sits at 1,028 feet, and the loop returns to nearly the same elevation, with a small net loss of 47 feet over the course. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in E Stroudsburg show May highs around 72°F and September highs around 75°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. That station sits roughly 587 feet lower than the loop, so temperatures on the trail run a little cooler. McMichael Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 4.8 miles away, and the White Trail Loop and Jonas Creek Extension are both about 5.4 miles off.
