The Hydrotube Area is a climbing area in the McKenzie River Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing spots, with Walts Wall and NW Corner both about 0.1 mile away. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Odell Lake show July and August highs around 73 to 74°F, with only about three wet days a month. Winter brings highs in the mid-30s and regular snow days from December through February. Indian Ridge Lookout, about 2.6 miles away, offers camping, and the Indian Ridge hike is about 3.5 miles off. Paddlers can head to Delp Creek, roughly 3.6 miles away, and French Pete Campground is about 6 miles from the area.
