Wocus Cut is an easy, flat out-and-back hike of about 1.6 miles in the Klamath Ranger District of the Fremont-Winema National Forest in southern Oregon. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail sits at roughly 4,140 feet, with a total climb of just 3 feet over the course of the trip. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Chiloquin show July highs around 85°F with lows near 42°F and only about three wet days in the month. Winter is cold and snowy, with highs near 39°F and snow on about six days in January. Malone Boat Launch is about a mile away, and Tomahawk and Rock Creek are both within about 4 miles. For an overnight stay, Doe Point Campground is roughly 9 miles off.
