Toketee Falls is a short hike in the Diamond Lake Ranger District of Oregon's Umpqua National Forest, about 0.8 miles long and easy enough to do in about half an hour. The trail is an out-and-back that climbs about 35 feet to a high point of 2,389 feet, and the Forest Service manages the land. The trail is natural-surface and allows bikes, but it is not accessible. A nearby weather station at Toketee Falls records typical averages that make July and August the driest, warmest stretch, with highs around 85 to 86°F and only about three wet days a month. Winter brings frequent rain and snow, with highs in the low 40s and lows near freezing. The trail makes a good pairing with Toketee Lake, just 0.7 miles away, and the campgrounds at Toketee Lake Campground and Clearwater #2 Forbay Forest Camp, both under a mile off. Paddlers can find the North Umpqua River about 9 miles away.
