Quinn Springs is an easy 1.5-mile out-and-back hike in the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is short and gentle, with a total elevation gain of about 10 feet, so it works well as a quick outing or a stop on the way to other destinations in the area. The route is on natural surface, and both horses and bikes are allowed. The climb is nearly flat, with the steepest stretch at about 0.4 miles in, where the grade reaches about 2 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Sunriver weather station show July highs around 84°F with lows near 41°F, while winter highs there stay in the 30s and 40s. Katsuk Pond is just 0.2 miles away, and Elk-Devils and Quinn Creek are both within about a mile and a half. Elk Lake Campground, about 1.7 miles off, offers a place to stay.
