Quinn Creek is a 5-mile out-and-back hike in Oregon's Deschutes National Forest, on the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District. The trail is managed by the Forest Service and has a moderate rating, with a total elevation gain of about 232 feet from the low point at 4,970 feet to the high at 5,177 feet. Horses are allowed on the trail, and the surface is natural, so riders and hikers can share the route. The climb is steady rather than steep, and the trip works well as a full-day outing with a campsite close by. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Sunriver show July highs around 84°F with lows near 41°F, while winter highs there sit in the 30s.
