Pyramid Peak Trail is a 6-mile moderate hike in the Sweet Home Ranger District of Oregon's Willamette National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The route rises from about 2,428 feet to a high point of 2,734 feet, with a total elevation gain of 1,195 feet. The trail is a point-to-point route, and the steepest stretch comes at about 2.7 miles in, where the grade reaches 35 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Marion Forks Fish Hatchery show July and August highs around 82°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the low 40s and frequent snow days. The trail takes about 2.5 hours to complete. The Middle Santiam River, about 1.2 miles away, and Gordan Peak, about 2.2 miles away, are the closest nearby options. Swamp Peak is about 3.8 miles off, and Lost Prairie campground is about 7.6 miles away.
