Play Time is a short hike in Oregon's Philomath Unit, about 0.9 miles long and rated easy. It's a point-to-point route that starts near 1,780 feet and reaches 1,935 feet, with a total climb of about 214 feet and a steeper stretch around the 0.4-mile mark. Bikes are allowed, but horses are not. The most comfortable months for a visit are July and August, when typical averages from a nearby weather station show highs in the low 80s and only about four wet days a month. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the higher ground run cooler. Lower Play Time and the Carnival mountain bike trail both lie about 0.1 mile away, and Southside Slip and Innuendo are within half a mile.
