Nesmith Point is a short, easy out-and-back hike in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 2.2 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 703 feet, and it rises from a low point of 2,965 feet to a high point of 3,690 feet. The climb starts gently, but the steepest stretch comes early, with a grade of about 33% at roughly 0.09 miles in.
