Little Moab is a 1.3-mile out-and-back hike in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises from about 340 feet to 829 feet, with a total gain of 1,034 feet over the round trip. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.4 miles, where the grade reaches 32 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 82°F with only about two wet days a month, while winter brings highs near 40°F and rain on most days. The hike takes about an hour. The trailhead sits close to several other routes, including Little Maui and Labyrinth, both about 0.2 miles away, and Coyote Cliffs Trail at 0.3 miles. Across the river in Washington, Wankers Columns is a climbing area about 0.6 miles away.
