Labyrinth is a 2.6-mile out-and-back hike on Forest Service land within the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area in Oregon. It starts at an elevation of about 170 feet and climbs to a high point of 879 feet, with a round-trip elevation gain of about 1,877 feet. The route is rated moderate, and the steepest part comes early, around the 0.4-mile mark, where the grade reaches about 21%. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 82°F in July and August with only about two wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the low 40s and rain on most days. The hike takes about two hours to complete. It makes an easy pairing with other nearby routes. Little Maui and Little Moab both lie within about a quarter mile, Coyote Cliffs Trail is about half a mile away, and the Wankers Columns climbing area is about 0.6 miles across the river in Washington.
