Liars Loop is a moderate out-and-back hike in the Klamath Ranger District of Oregon's Fremont-Winema National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The route is about 9.4 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 1,741 feet, and it starts at roughly 5,978 feet, climbing to about 6,301 feet before returning. The climb is steady, and the steepest stretch comes around the 2-mile mark, where the grade reaches about 11%. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at a similar elevation show July and August highs around 69°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the low 30s and rain on most days. The Threemile Loop lies just 0.4 miles away, and the 3-Mile Creek Tie and Middle Three Mile Loop are both within about 2.6 miles. For an overnight stay, Jackson F Kimball Campground is about 8 miles off.
